Youth Theatre
Monifieth Amateur Dramatics is proud to sponsor an exciting Youth Theatre for local children in S1 and above.
We offer an engaging and positive programme that allows our young members to meet new people, perform and develop a knowledge and understanding of theatre practice.
We welcome all young people with an interest in theatre or performing to come along and join us every Monday from 6.30pm - 8pm.
The group is run by a number of volunteers who have various levels of experience in amateur or professional theatre.
Monifieth Youth Theatre was formed in November 2009.

Some of the shows the Youth Theatre have performed include: "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe", "The Great Gatsby", " Johnny and the Dead", "TOAST", "Dining to Die", "Inspector Drake and the Perfekt Crime" and the first Youth Group Showcase.

In 2019 they performed "The Blue Electric Wind".
​
Our current youth group is run by Claire and River Streets.
