Two for the Tango

By Alister Faulkner

When Chas and Dot - a Bertie Wooster clone and his slightly avant-garde sister - book into the Grand Hotel for a quiet weekend, they are blissfully unaware that their identical twins, in the form of Charles and Dorothy, are already in the vicinity. But not only that, Charles and Dorothy are currently embroiled in plans to escape from the dominance of their matriarch, the ‘Mem-sahib’. Charles is planning to elope with a sugary blond American showgirl and Dorothy has ambitions to take the showgirl's place in the review - ‘Twilight On The Volga’.

Chas and Dot get unwittingly and hopelessly entangled in the plots, as mistaken identities abound and comedy becomes farce.

Nobody’s Perfect

by Simon Williams

Leonard is a frustrated novelist who finds that the only way to get his work published is by pretending to be a woman, using the pen name of Myrtle Banbury.

But Leonard's publisher, the feminist Harriet, insists on meeting Myrtle face to face to discuss terms.

Can Leonard convince Harriet that he really is a woman?  And how far can he trust his partners in crime, namely his streetwise daughter Dee Dee and his roguish father Gus, the Don Juan of the local day centre, not to blow his cover?

What Every Woman Knows

by JM Barrie

The play, set between 1900-1908, when women began to pursue full equality through the women’s movement, follows the rise of John Shand, from scholar to MP.

However, it’s his wife Maggie’s impact that really sends his career soaring and as explained in the play itself, every woman knows that behind every successful man there is a woman pulling the strings - a fact that is unknown to John until the play’s conclusion.

Along the way a few sticks are thrown at the wheels of this traveling classic, but more or less it’s a straight road with a few bumps.
